Alex Pennington - Exotic take deux

Thought I would take another picture for the past week's theme. I mirrored her face to play with that sense of being perfectly symmetrical which is said to be the definition of pure beauty, plopped that oh-so alluring blonde wig on to help with the surreal...and EXOTIC look, anywho, tell me what you guys think. hugs and kisses

Icon - Tyler Webb

Well Hello There Again!

This was definitely a blast to shoot. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on it, as I'm pretty happy with it, but still desire to tweak it.

Cheers!

Behind The Scenes Note: I took the door off the bathroom to shoot (should probly remove the hinges in PS) and actually put it in the room as a bounce along with a silver reflector haha

Jamie Basso - Icon

Hey everyone,

I talked a little bit about this photo in class. I tried to make this a documentary on the media and how people in the spotlight are portrayed. You've probably never seen the people in this photograph before, but they're identified as figures of fame and/or fortune when they're put in expensive clothes on top of a red carpet. I chose this photo specifically because it was more of a candid moment as well, they both seemed to be caught off guard and therefore not posing in the expected way.

Icon - Alex Pennington

This is a photo of my grandmother. An icon in her own right, for my family and I.

Bianca Granata - Exotic

I know this is quite late, but i swear i had put it up a while ago, guess my image never went through.

anyway.

There is  a really funny story as to why i think turtles are Exotic!  Last summer when I travelled to Italy to play soccer, we had stayed in a place where we were really close to the beach, and our room had a walk out on the first floor. The morning that me and my teammates had to pack up and leave for home, we decided to run out to the beach  for one last time to take some photos -obviously-.  I had left my suitcase open so i could throw in last minute things when we ran back.   Turns out, a turtle had crawled into my suitcase and hid itself under my clothes, and I had no idea.

SOMEHOW, the turtle survived the entire trip to Toronto which seems completely impossible, but he was a toughie so he did it!  -no idea how.  So I say my turtle was pretty exotic since he came from Italy.. without permission, pretty much an illegal immigrant turtle. he did end up dying a few weeks later and I bought a new one, which is the one you see here!

PS, his name is "Awkward" .. therefore meet, Awkward Turtle.
feed back would be awesome.
his tank is all set up for another shoot.
such a model.

I took out the "distractions" and made it a bit brighter, anything else?
