Sydney Irvine - Shame

I wanted to explore the "shame of addiction" so I photographed the subject smoking a cigarette.

Mithila Majithia: Theme #4 - Shame.

Hey everyone,

I was pretty stumped as what to shoot for shame originally but my awesome friend Jordynn from the other class told me I should maybe go for something personal that I felt strongly about.
Like most kids, I had a bit of a rebellious phase, but one of the things I remember most when I look back were the moments where I stopped, thought about what I was doing, and felt genuinely shameful that I was lying and hiding things from my parents.

So yeah, a little mushy on this one, but I hope you like it.

Also, I was stuck between doing it in color or black and white, but I felt like this just suited the mood of the photo.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Shame - Gina Staios

Hi everyone!!

So, after much thought of what things are shameful, I decided to shoot something revolving around litter. There are so many times where I would pass by a park and I would notice litter nearby a trash can. It always bugged me how these people could be so lazy to throw out their trash when there's a trashcan right there! Or when you're in a beautiful area and you wonder how people leave their trash there.
So yeah, this is the photo I decided to shoot! :)

Savannah Onofrey - Theme 4 - Shame

I am a dancer, and when I use to preform I always wore costumes; some good, some bad, and some REALLY bad. Though I may have loved a dance I had to preform in, if I had to wear a hideous costume I felt a little embarrassed going onstage. Even when the performance was over with (and the hopes of the costume being destroyed) cheesy dance photos would be taken of me in these costumes to forever hold the memory of how unattractive I looked. Even today when I look back on these photos I'm still a little ashamed. But it was never my choice to choose these costumes, it was my dance teachers and their "interesting" sense of style.

In the words of a dance friend of mine: "Dance teachers are drunk when they design costumes."
