i found out the other day pineapples don't grow from trees...... and in my mind, those trees looked like palm trees, which was the only thing i could think of when i thought of "exotic." and because palm trees are quite costly to get a hold of, here is a pineapple, with a lei. done in a drab, studio-esque style, to contrast with any potential fun in the sun these two objects are known to be a part of. critique away!
Your colours are always so nice! And you have this splendid way with shadows. The colours are very pretty and its nice that the pineapple doesn't naturally stay completely straight so it makes the image seem more dynamic and interesting. Great shot Carrie!
ReplyDeleteI really like the colours you used. The purple really allows the pineapple and the flower necklace come out. But maybe it would be cool to have the pineapple cut open? And have a piece laying on top of the flower necklace. Just a suggestion. But other than that I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours!! I reminds me of how Alex tells us to experiment, haha! They really pop and I love how the shadows are really faint.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!

I really like this photo, especially because of the use of colours. Sometime the combination of really bright colours can look a bit overwhelming, but I think you've balanced them out quite well. I feel that this can be an abstract ad for a vacation, and makes me want to go to the beach and sip a pina colada. :P

I love this! So fun and I can't stop looking at it. Really nice colours and I like that its not perfectly symmetrical, makes it more interesting.
