Haha I feel like a jerk for saying it, but I still want more pulled back! I'd love to see the whole plate with some background, maybe even in portrait. Burger at bottom 1/3 line of the photo to really emphasize this blackness amongst this nice soft porcelain tone.
I liked the original version of this photo that you first posted, but now that you've pulled back i like it even more! I feel that now I am able to move my eye around a little more.
I like the concept. I think it might be cool if you pulled back more, and made it more black and white (not necessarily converting it to black and white though). The colour balance is a little off here so the white doesn't really look white. Another thought is to show more of an expanse of white, like a really nicely set table with white table cloth, with the burnt burger contrasting with that? -alex haney
Hey Jordynn here from the other class. I think what this burger is lacking is some serious bling. Or something to make it more highclass instead of just a black burger. It will also relate more to the original idea which was Coco Chanel. Although, in here work shes not so "blingy" and flashy I think this needs a punch of something like white or silver. Will also help it look more elegant. I agree with Alex as well in that the colour balance needs to be corrected as well.
I love the idea, I think if the plate were gone giving it a dead on view offset with diferant lighting it would defiantly POP! the color right now IMHO makes it look flat. you gave a great idea life, but the burnt I think needs to be punched up with contrast.
