I know, i'm on a bit of a kick with this theme. But the series i'm working on is an exploration of the sexuality of food. i really like the simplicity of this. even though we are constantly told as photo students to not put subjects directly in the middle the frame, i always do it and i am particularly drawn to centre weighted photographs.
ReplyDeletenice wiener! i'm going to agree with liking the simplicity of this, alex. i think the lighting is effective. what made you shoot black & white? i'd be curious to see a colour version. and how do you feel about the intense vignetting on the right side? i'm apparently only able to criticize by asking questions...

i feel like maybe this is because i was actually there, but i would love to see the bonds better ;) have it maybe black so it stands out and becomes a nice contrast, looking like either just bondage or even fishnet stockings, y'know? but i likey. x
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this! I also really like the contrast on the, zucchini, right? And, not that I don't like the black and white, but I agree with Claire, what made you shoot in black and white?
