I love the first one and how mysterious it is in the darkness and being black and white really works good! I like the who concept of "behind closed doors" too! On the first one, I would just crop the left hand side SLIGHTLY as there is a tiny white line that I see that is a bit distracting. and with the second one, on the number plate its a bit blown out ( not sure if this was the flash or not reflecting off your camera!?) but since its RIGHT in the centre its kind of distracting. I would keep working on this....the first one isn't a great crop/composition and seems a little stagnant. The second seems too staged and illustrative. Look at Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills.
