I had a really hard time with this theme because I didn't want to be cliche and do something that everyone would have done(ie. Marilyn Monroe) but turns out my idea isn't so original(oh well) I tried to recreate the infamous Marilyn Monroe portrait of her dress being blow up as she was and still is a major icon in society, but I don't think the vision in my head was executed very well. Any suggestions would be really helpful, as Im kinda bummed this didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.
i like the idea :) you can have her stand on something elevated, then have a fan going beneath? or tell her to lift and then let go for the shot.
ReplyDeleteThe addition of a still figure in the fist image was a nice touch, its makes it more interesting. The idea that you took the most iconic thing about Marilyn and focused solely on that is nice, it fits the theme more. Its like asking what is iconic about the icon? Why are they iconic? your breaking it down in that sense.
