Savannah Onofrey - Theme #3 - Icon


Mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery. 

When an individual is considered to be an icon I also see them 
to be a role model and/or an inspiration to others. In the art world many people 
find inspiration from iconic artists, and even mimic artist's individual style to create 
their own.  

For this theme I decided to mimic the work of David Hockney and his collage 
series. I love his unique way of creating a photo, and see him as a an icon 
in the photography world.

    You did a really good job putting the pieces of the picture back together to create an odd looking distortion! Looks great!

    I just did this tonight! so much fun! love the idea! I think the contrast between your models orange/red hair and her green eyes really make the image pop!
