I feel as though this photo could do more in the way of expressing addiction. I think the viewer will be aware of the addictive qualities of cigarettes, however this image doesn't really show the struggle of addiction. perhaps a series of photos showing different sides of cigarette addiction.
I agree with Nathan - I feel like the idea behind this image needs to be taken a step further. It's a nice portrait, but it doesn't tug at the feeling of shame. Try and play it up in a way that hasn't been seen before.
I agree with the previous two comments. This is more just a typical portrait of smoking - looking 'cool' vs. looking ashamed.
The portrait itself is ok. I would have cropped out the blown out sky at the top. The lighting is correct. I still find that is falls a little flat in terms of creativity.
Try to play with the idea of shame, the negatives effects of smoking etc.
Same! I like where you are going with this, but i would probably change minor things like what Nathan said about different images.. Might give a different feel to it.. And also with Meagan, negative effects of smoking using the different images could also work really well..
I do like where you are going with this though, good job, i'd definitely like to see more from it

I agree with above, it's a beautiful photo but I don't see her being ashamed of smoking. But I like where you are going with this!
