Savannah Onofrey - Theme #5 - Fantasy

  1. the shapes, textures & font in this image are working really well together, and keep me looking for more details. there is a pleasingly strange sense that this could have been shot 50 years ago or 50 years in the future...i think the lack of people and choice of b&w is helping that ambiguous time feel.
you could go on to create a nice series from this.

  2. I agree with the above shapes, textures and font of the stores sign really works nicely together. I love how simple it is yet the theme of fantasy is still there. I think black and white works really nicely too although my first initial idea of fantasy was colourful and bright so good job!

  3. I really like that you did this in black and white. It gives it contrast as well as a sense of fantasy hidden within the daily grind of reality, if that makes any sense! The only thing I would do is maybe crop the right side out a little, mostly because I'm a freak when it comes to lines and symmetry..

  4. I love the concept! Such a great photo, however i would like to see what it would look like pulled back... overall i like it in black in white - makes your eye focus on the text which is the subject.

  5. The textures in the roof look really neat! Along with the store itself

Overall really good photo! Although I may suggest, if you cropped the photo, to maybe lift it up so you dont see as much road but more roof!

  6. I'd be really interested to see what this photo was like framed exactly the same but using different focal lengths.

    Very good find / composition.
